3. How We Use Your Information
- Buyer Verification: To verify buyer identity, financial capability, and purchase readiness before granting marketplace access.

- Communications: To send transactional emails, SMS notifications (including buy-box alerts for Priority Buyers), and platform updates.
- Offer Processing: To facilitate the submission and review of non-binding offers between buyers and sellers.

- Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve platform functionality.
4. Buyer Identity Protection
Protecting buyer privacy is fundamental to Lucid Private Market. The following protections are built into the platform:
- Buyer identity is never revealed to sellers until the buyer submits an offer. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- Seller searches display only anonymized buyer profiles showing verification status, budget range, financing type, and purchase timeline.
- No free-text search of buyer information is available. No filtering by protected-class characteristics or proxy attributes is permitted.
- Buyer names, contact information, and identifying details are not accessible to sellers prior to offer submission.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- Brokerage Services: Lucid Realty LLC (Florida brokerage license CQ-1069231) coordinates showings and transactions. Necessary information is shared with licensed agents involved in your transaction.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services for authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and SMS messaging. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their services.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lucid Realty LLC or its users.
- With Your Consent: When a buyer submits an offer, their identity is disclosed to the seller as an inherent part of the offer process.
6. Data Retention
- Buyer verification status expires every 90 days. After expiry, buyers must re-verify to maintain marketplace access.
- Verification documents are retained only for the duration necessary to complete the verification process and any applicable regulatory retention period.
- Audit logs are retained indefinitely in append-only format for compliance purposes.
- Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Upon account deletion, personal data is deactivated and anonymized in accordance with applicable law.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, role-based access controls, and comprehensive audit logging. Verification documents are stored with restricted access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. No Public Indexing
Lucid Private Market listings are not syndicated to MLS systems or public real estate portals. The Platform is designed to prevent search engine indexing of listing data and buyer information. Private listings remain private.
9. Your Rights
You may:
- Access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Request information about what data we hold about you
- Close your account at any time
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.
